Storage options in our home are admittedly terrible.  There's just very little extra storage room.  The good news is that nearly all the rooms and closets are exceptionally large so there is more room than usual in each room, but little-to-none in the common areas.

The little remaining:

There's a few shelves of space in a large pantry on the third floor hallway (for the third-floor residents to share).  And there's a little additional space in the closet of the second story bathroom;  however, this is reserved for the resident of the Second Floor Rear Bedroom.

For everyone else, there's a little extra room in the Cave Lounge for truly "small" storage.  Lawn furniture may be kept on the deck as well.  But please note that none of the storage areas are private, nor secure; and we are not responsible if something blows off the deck.  Please tie or weight them down sufficiently.

There's a little more room outside, in the back of our house to park bicycles.  Bikes aren’t allowed inside our home, regardless of the weather, so remember to cover your bike in a plastic bag if you’ll be using it during the winter.

Overall, I would recommend trying to keep everything you have in your room.  That way it's secure, and won't intrude into the shared common spaces.
